Have other questions? Feel free to contact us directly and we will be happy to answer any questions you have.

Can I book a class?

Yes, of course you can! We would love you to join us for your first class, and many more classes in the future.

Booking your first class with us is easy.  You can use our website or our free GloFox app, and find the best class time for you.

Do I need anything special?

You don’t need much, or anything fancy, for your first class.  You will want to wear some comfortable and lightweight clothing, such as yoga leggings or cycling style shorts and sports top. Try not to wear anything that is baggy or super loose fitting.

All of our classes include the use of a yoga mat, but you are welcome to bring and use your own if you have one.  If you are using a studio mat, you will need a towel to cover the mat during your practice; a beach towel or a large bath towel will work fine.

Finally you will want to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated during your class, and your excitement to get sweaty!

Tips for your first class

Be hydrated

Being prepared will mean you have a more enjoyable class, so make sure to drink water throughout the day before your class.  Little and often will help your body be hydrated enough before you step into the studio.  Make sure to bring a bottle of water to sip on during class also.

Be early

Try to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early for your first class, so we can show you around the studio, discuss what your first class will be like, and complete any paperwork we need to before you start.

Dress well

You will want to be dressed appropriately, in comfortable sports clothing, that is not loose fitting.

Enjoy your class

Your teacher is there to help you as they lead the class.  Follow along as much as you are able, taking breaks if you need them.  Let your body adjust to the heat and do not push yourself, remember the heat can take a class or two to get adjusted to.

At the end of your class, don’t rush away.  Enjoy the final savasana, you will feel amazing afterwards.

Recovery

After your class it is just as important to hydrate your body.  You will have sweat a lot, so drinking something with electrolytes, such as coconut water, is a great way to treat your body.

You are more than welcome to ask any of our teachers any questions that you might have after your class, as well as book yourself in for your next class so that you can start seeing and feeling the benefits of your new hot yoga practice.
